Finance Budgetary Control Section is headed by Mrs. Lydiah Kibutu.

The Budgetary Control Section has embarked on financial year budgeting activities that focuses on the financial sustainability of day to day activities of the university management, staff and students.

• Determining University of Nairobi’s financial direction.
• Forecasting on financial outcomes of University of Nairobi.
•  Allocating financial resources to various established accounts in University of Nairobi’s.
• Controlling income and expenditure of accounts.
• Advice the management on the financial projections of the established accounts.
• Prepare management reports.
• Setting targets in financial numerical terms.
