University of Nairobi organized an annual prize giving day, where over 200 students were awarded cash awards, certificates, trophies and medals for their excellent academic achievements over the last three years. The ceremony was held in Taifa Hall, Main Campus on May, 10, 2019.

The University of Nairobi ICT Team has been challenged to adopt new computing technologies like Artificial Intelligence, AI, in resolving customer complaints and providing solutions to staff and students. This happened during ICT capacity building workshop that took place on May 3, 2019 at Kenya School of Monetary Studies.
Post Graduate Diploma in Immigration Studies Launched
The University of Nairobi, Department of Population Studies in collaboration with the State Department of Immigration and Citizen Services and the Better Migration Management Program (BMM) has launched a Post Graduate Diploma in Migration Studies. The launch took place at the Vice-Chancellors Parlour, Main Campus on May 6, 2019.
